Boracay : Beach Paradise

Known for party goers, food feast, stunning sunset, never-ending water activities, oh-so-clear water and very fine white sand, Boracay is considered as the best beach in the Philippines. Less than an hour flight from busy metro, you'll be amazed and captured by this perfect beach paradise!

Awesome sand art!

This is my very FIRST trip to Boracay with Jason , so I'm pretty excited! :)

How To (Cheaply) Get There:

All airlines fly to Kalibo, and to make it cheaper, watch out for seat sales! We took Cebu Pacific from Manila to Kalibo for P2,000 RT/person.

Right infront of Kalibo airport, there are vans/buses that offer transfer (land & boat) to Caticlan for P250 OW/person (I'm not sure about buses though). Our van dropped us off at Caticlan jetty port and took the boat to Boracay island for 10 - 15mins then hopped a trike to D'Mall where our inn is located.

Where To Stay:

I booked at Boracay Royale Residence Inn from TravelBook ahead of time when I saw awesome discounts! The place is "OK" knowing that you're in Boracay which means you're 90% out of the crib and it's just few minutes walk to the beach. What I love about our inn is, it's far from the crowd - sleep time is really a SLEEP time.

There are SO MANY places to chose from, all depends on your standard and of course, budget.

What To Do:

As mentioned at the top, Boracay is known as a paradise for party goers, adventure seekers - water to be specific, beach lovers and picture addicts but for us (me and Jason), it's a sweet escape.

If only I can stay here for good..
Fine, crowd-less and peaceful beach view at Stn 2
Ayiiee ! :)
Willy's Rock on a gloomy day!
We didn't do any activity aside from eating, wandering and little bit of swimming, too bad we didn't witness Boracay's magical sunset due to cloudy and bit rainy weather condition but the turquoise, crystal clear water and powdery white sand made us realize why a lot of people are going crazy about this place!
Oh-so-yummy Kaopad (mango, egg and pork strips with sesame seeds and rice)
I love their Banana-Mango! A must-try!
Meanwhile, here are activities one can try in Boracay!
