Located at the northwestern side of the Philippines, another paradise can be found - Puerto Galera, home of wonderful beaches, reefs and dive sites for people from different walks of life. One of Oriental Mindoro's rich treasure where various water activities are available and "mindoro sling" is a must-try.

How to get here:
From Manila, you got to get to Batangas Pier by any means. There are couple of buses you can ride from Cubao to Batangas pier and the fare is less than P150. We took ALPS at 9am and it dropped us off exactly at the Pier around 2pm (due to heavy traffic).
From Batangas Pier, there are a lot of shipping companies representative offering their service - Father And Son, Minolo and Galerian - we took Galerian for (P250 one way) P500 rountrip excluding environmental and terminal fess which are not more than P100.

Where to stay:
We went to White Beach and as usual, there are a lot of commercial establishments in the area - bars, restaurants and hotels/inns. Room rate varies based on season but P500 should be enough for a night. we stayed at Punta Lodging.

What to do:
Sky is the limit.
It really depends on what you're up to but nightlife shouldn't be missed. For water adventures, you can choose from banana boat ride, diving, snorkeling, kayak, jet ski and boat party.

Most of the bars have their own fire dancers, just walk along the shore and enjoy yourself.
